When this international company with a 450-person call center relocated from downtown Vancouver to Burnaby, they wanted a space that enabled all staff to all be on one floor, in a more open, modern environment. With construction and move costs unavoidable, the client decided to re-use existing furniture as an economical solution.
Chase worked with the client and contractor to make sure all goals were met, with weekly revising move and build plans to adjust for continual changes along the way, including the hiring of 30 new staff halfway through project.
We developed two teams: a workforce of over 30 movers and installers, and a project management team each phase to undertake the task of moving the entire company from furniture, and delicate server room equipment, to high-security files.

Chase’s move and project management team was instrumental in completing a move of this size, without any staff-shorting issues, and minimal staff internal relocations.
We fully inventoried all existing furniture, and worked with the design team from start to finish to create a new, functional floor plan; and any discarded furniture was recycled/disposed before the new tenant took possession of their original space.
We also maximized a 60-person swing space to prevent any workflow interruption.
